Irene Salo is a graphic designer based in Amsterdam. She creates visual identities, publications, illustrations and much more with a playful, bold and concept driven approach. Her work spans the cultural and commercial fields. She also has a passion for tactile media such as print, drawing and bookbinding.

Bachelor's thesis — printed version

Beauty in the unexpected forms explores Japanese traditional aesthetic values in the contemporary Japanese society and design. It examines the importance of emptiness (white) in design, in our living space and environment.

Kivasakona — collaborative project
