2xL is a hand-woven interactive textile collection by designer Moe Kim. The concept behind her collection is based on Erik Erikson’s life cycle theory about the eight life stages a person goes through as they mature. Experimenting with light, each textile piece represents a life stage of the designer.
The objective was to design a book for the collection that embodies the life stages through visual storytelling. The book is divided into distinctive chapters by using strong, contrasting colours and bold typography to give each chapter their own identity. The scope of the project also included business cards and postcards design.
